Dear Relief Worker/Volunteer/Aid Agency,

One of the major concerns in the aftermath of the Tsunami is the outbreak of Epidemics. In order to help identify early the spread of such diseases

www.webhealthcentre.com is providing here a Tsunami Disease Surveillance system that will help Governments and Aid Agencies keep track of:

  1. Disease (Cholera/Gastro-enteritis, Malaria, Typhoid and Dengue)outbreak by area (you can also view this on GIS Maps).

  2. Number of patients diagnosed and suspected with these diseases.

  3. Morbidity and Mortality patterns.

This system will help gather & collate data that will play an important role in deciding the:

  • Medical Supplies required in each region.
  • Medical Manpower deployment
  • Medical care assessment

FOR AID WORKERS:

Please fill your Name, Contact Details, Aid Organization you represent, location from where you are reporting(Down to the Village level) and then check the relevant symptom boxes for the number of patients seen (New and Old) and submit the data sheet provided.
