Dr. Ranjit Pandey MD has been in the field of the Administration of Hospitals and of Health Care Projects since the last 20 years. He has been very closely associated with Medical Insurance from its very beginning. In the early nineties when Mediclaim was opened to private operators he was involved in the creation of several types of Medical Insurance Packages for various hospitals. During his career in Hospital Administration he has been responsible for creating public awareness with respect to Medical Insurance. More recently he has been advising “Private Insurance” companies regarding the most appropriate “Insurance Packages” for the India.

Dr Ranjit Pandey is a Medical Graduate from the Prince of Wales Medical College, Patna from where he also did his MD and DCH. He has worked with TISCO at the Tata Main Hospital in Jamshedpur for 13 years and later with the Apollo Hospital at Hyderabad. This followed a string of attachments to various hospitals and Health Care projects in Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Gwalior, Noida, Varanasi etc. He had held the position of Executive Director of the Singapore based Health care Company, Medi - Projects Pte Ltd before taking the current assignment with a leading private hospital-Lilavati in Mumbai.

• Alternatively you could send an e-mail at lilavati@bom3.vsnl.net.in.
• Cancellations should be intimated atleast 24 hours in advance.
• Please arrive latest by 8.15 am to the Health Check-up Department, where the staff would help you in the registering and billing procedure.
• A minimum of 12 hours fasting and abstinence from consuming alcohol the night before is required.
• No food or beverage/milk etc other than plain water should be consumed in the morning.
• Please bring samples of stool and urine when you come for the check up. Containers can be collected from the hospital.
• Please bring all your earlier medical records when you come for the check up.
• Regular medication can be taken.
• Diabetic patients: No anti diabetic drugs should be taken in the morning.
• Please carry the drug/insulin, to be taken with breakfast.
• Please consult your regular Physician in case any special/additional investigations are required to be done.
• Reports are available the same day. In some cases the reports are available later and can be couriered to the address provided by you.
