Dr Jankaria’s Imaging Centre, Mumbai

Dr. Jankharia’s Imaging Centre (JIC) is one of the oldest Radiology and Imaging Centres in Mumbai. We provide X-ray, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography, Colour Doppler, and Mammography and bone density services. Virtually all kinds of radiology procedures are performed at this centre.

The staff includes Dr. G.R. Jankharia, Dr. Bhavin Jankharia, Dr.Bijal Jankharia and Dr. Miral Jhaveri. They have been trained abroad at various intervals. They are very well known in their respective sub-specialisation. They also teach in different forums.

JIC has been the first centre in India to successfully implement and use teleradiology services, starting in 1996.

CONSULTANTS

Dr. Bhavin Jankharia completed his MBBS and DMRD from LTM Medical College and subsequently completed his MD from TN medical college. He has worked in KEM Hospital and Mumbai Hospital in Bombay. He has been a visiting Radiologist at Detroit, Michigan, USA and visiting Clinician at Rochester, Minnesota, USA. He is currently a Radiologist and Sonologist in Dr. Jankharia’s Imaging Centre. He is in charge of the CT Scan Department at Sir H.N. Hospital & Research Centre, Mumbai. He is an Assistant Honorary, Radiology, at Mumbai Port Trust Hospital.

He is the Joint Editor and Secretary of the Indian Journal of Radiology and Imaging (IJRI).

Dr. Bijal Jankharia MBBS, DMRD, DMRE, DNB

Dr. Bijal Jankharia completed his MBBS, DMRD, and DMRE from LTM Medical College, Mumbai. He also completed his Diplomat National Board from GS Medical College. He has been a visiting Clinician in Mammography & Colour Doppler at Rochester, Minnesota, USA. He is currently a Sonologist, Mammologist at Dr. Jankharia’s Imaging Centre. He is also an Assistant Honorary at Kasturba Hospital and B J Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai.
